Kaiserslautern community members who regularly use pedestrian gates to access KMC installations may need to adjust their travel plans this week.

All foot traffic access gates at Daenner, Landstuhl, Kleber, Baumholder and Panzer kasernes will be closed through Friday, according to a Monday announcement from U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz.

The closures coincide with the command’s annual force protection exercise announced last week.
