Came home from Vietnam in November 1967, just after war protest at University of Wisconsin in Madison. U.S. Army wanted to put returning vets on riot control. I said no, I would not point my weapon at Americans. Soooooo I went back to Vietnam for another tour. Came home in June 1969 to an ungrateful nation. It cost me everything! I'm still paying.
