The German Weather Service has issued a heat warning for Kaiserslautern for tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“Strong heat stress” is forecast for the region this week with temperatures expected to peak Wednesday at 96 F before dropping back into the high 80s on Saturday, according to Accuweather.
The heat wave is spreading across Germany and Western Europe with alerts also issued in France, where temperatures in the south passed 109F today, according to The Associated Press.
