A dazed swan brought train traffic to a halt Wednesday near the Wörth am Rhein station after flying into a power line, according to a German Federal Police statement.

Officers found the bird sitting between the tracks and moved it to safety, letting it rest in the trunk of a patrol car while they arranged care, the statement said.

It’s now recovering in a foster home, according to the statement.
