Kerchem beer week: Raise a glass and discover new favorites at this festive beer celebration in Kirchheimbolanden on Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. Brewers and beer lovers gather to celebrate the Reinheitsgebot, the 500-year-old German beer purity law that still defines the craft, alongside street food, live bands and a Sunday parade. Free admission.
Italian summer fest: Say ciao to summer with limoncello and gelato at this bellissimo street festival in Otterberg on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. A singing pizza chef, Italian pop tunes and sweet treats bring la dolce vita. Admission is 13 euros.
Pop-up sneaker convention: Step up your style game at this streetwear and collectibles market in Ramstein-Miesenbach on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. Find rare kicks, bold brands and tasty food in one hype-filled spot. Admission is 17.17 euros.
Medieval summer market: Hear ye, hear ye! Step into the Middle Ages with swordplay and songs at this historic castle fair at Burg Lichtenberg on Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Knights, archers and artisans bring the past to life in a stunning hilltop setting. Admission is 8 euros with discounts for costumes. Kids under 47 inches enter free. Parking is 2 euros.
