A section of Donnersbergstrasse in Kaiserslautern will be closed starting Monday through June 17 for resurfacing, according to city officials.

The closure affects the stretch between Mennonitenstrasse and Mannheimer Strasse, roughly 2 miles from the A6 and 1.25 miles from Kleber and Daenner kasernes. Traffic will be detoured via Hilgardring and Mainzer Strasse.

During the first phase of the project, the parking lot at the cemetery near the Mennonitenstrasse intersection will also be inaccessible.
