A 45-year-old driver was intoxicated during a military police traffic stop outside of the Army’s Pulaski Barracks on Thursday morning, Kaiserslautern police said Friday. The man was not an American, Kaiserslautern police said when queried. He was directed to pull over shortly after 7 a.m. but initially ignored the military police conducting a routine security check. He was then stopped and was given a breath test that registered a blood alcohol content of 0.11%, well above the legal limit, according to the police report. German police were called and took him for further tests and processing.
