Residents and commuters in Hohenecken and Morlautern will face significant travel disruptions during roadwork starting this month, city officials said in a statement Monday.

Hildegardstrasse is now fully closed until the end of August to allow for renewal of walkways and pavement. Work and closures will then continue on Am Schehhof until December.

The construction in Morlautern, which includes pavement renewal and infrastructure upgrades on Ellenbrunner Strasse, begins May 2 and is slated to last for three months, city officials said.
