‘Mr. Toad’ and tunnel tours: Here’s what’s happening in the KMC

There’s plenty to do in the KMC this weekend. KMC Onstage presents “The Adventures of Mr. Toad,” which runs this and next weekend at KMC Onstage Studio inside the KCAC on Daenner Kaserne. Shows are on Friday night at 7 p.m. and at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

On Saturday, you can take a guided tour in English of Kaiserslautern’s Count Palatinate Hall with the subterranean tunnels. The tour starts at 11:15 a.m. at the city’s tourist information center and lasts approximately 1.5 hours. The cost is 7 euros, and registration is required by emailing touristinformation@kaiserslautern.de or calling +49 (0) 631 3654019. On Sunday, check out the annual spring festival on Ramstein’s market square starting at 11:30 a.m. with the tapping of the beer keg. Admission is free and there will be live music and a variety of vendors selling gifts, garden decor, flowers, plants and more.
