Following their recent defeat at home, 1. FC Kaiserslautern is poised to dust off and face rival Saarbrücken in the DFB trophy semifinal on Tuesday.

Given the limited capacity at Saarbrücken’s Ludwigspark Stadium, more than 20,000 fans are expected to opt for the public viewing at Fritz-Walter Stadium.

The match, set to kick off at 8:45 p.m., has prompted the club to organize park and ride services from 6 p.m., leveraging parking facilities at KL-East (Schweinsdell) and KL-University, replicating the logistics of regular game days, Westpfalz Police said.

Parking will be exceptionally scarce near the stadium and at the Messeplatz, where availability is further constrained by another event, according to a police statement. Fans are strongly advised to use the park and ride options to mitigate traffic concerns.
