Pirmasens police are looking for unidentified perpetrators who stole several Nazi era exhibition pieces from the Hauenstein Shoe Museum recently. During renovation work between Dec. 14 and Feb. 22, thieves accessed the third floor and pried open multiple glass display cases. The stolen items, valued at approximately 10,000 euros include clothing and objects from the Nazi era, notably a wooden replica of a hand grenade. The Pirmasens Police Department is asking anyone who may have been offered the stolen items to come forward with any helpful tips via kipirmasens@polizei.rlp.de.
