A stationary speed camera was reported on fire by motorists shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday at the cloverleaf at Vogelweh. The first emergency services personnel on the scene extinguished the fire. Officers noticed two men in dark clothing sneaking away. The men were stopped and police found evidence of the crime in the car of one of the men, authorities said. The suspects, ages 21 and 23, are under investigation on suspicion of arson and disrupting public business. The speed camera was damaged but appears to still be operational. The amount of damage has not yet been determined, police said in a release.
