Ceasefire zone, Pakistani side, Kashmir, Apr. 9, 1958: Pakistani troops and UN observers at a check point along the ceasefire line in the Kashmir region between India and Pakistan. In April of 1958 Stars and Stripes reporter John Wright and photographer Ted Rohde travelled on the Pakistani side of the ceasefire zone with a delegation of the United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP), responsible for monitoring the ceasefire.
