Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii, July 18, 2018: A Marine from Company B, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment helps Pfc. Miguelangel Vasquez, 19, of Victorville, Calif., put on his boot. Early-morning grouchiness is a way of life, said Vasquez. “We complain 100 percent of the time,” he said has he pulled on his boots with the help of a fellow “boot,” as new Marines are called.
