Here’s a list of some of the restaurants across the country that offer free eats or discounts to all veterans and active-duty service members on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.

Double-check with your local outlets to make sure they are participating in the offer and what proof of service they require. Some offer discounts to veterans but not their family members.

If your favorite place isn’t on the list, check with the restaurant anyway just to make sure it isn’t offering Veterans Day discounts or free food. Many do.

And enjoy the bennies! Whether you served in a desk job in CONUS or close-quarter combat in the Sandbox, you earned them.

Applebee’s — Applebee’s is offering active-duty military and veterans a free meal from a select menu on Veterans Day. Bring along proof of service. Check Applebee’s website for details.

Bob Evans — On Nov. 11, Bob Evans will be offering veterans and active-duty service members a special menu of seven homestyle favorites free. Dine-in only, beverage not included. Proof of military service required.

Bombshells Restaurant & Bar — Veterans eat free and active service members and accompanying family members will receive a 20% discount. Proof of service required.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse — BJ’s is offering a complimentary meal from a select menu and a Dr Pepper beverage to all current military personnel and Vvterans with proof of service.

Buffalo Wild Wings — On Veterans Day, participating Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants will offer 10 free boneless wings and fries for all veterans and active-duty service members. Both dine-in or takeout, but military ID required.

California Pizza Kitchen — Veterans and active military get a complimentary entrée and beverage when they dine in and show proof of service Nov. 11. In addition, all veterans who dine with California Pizza Kitchen will receive a BOGO, redeemable from Nov. 12 through Nov. 20.

Cattlemen’s — On Veterans Day, Cattlemen’s is offering an 8-ounce sirloin steak dinner with sides to current or former service members at participating locations. Military IDs or proof of service required.

Chili’s — Chili’s will offer a free meal from a select menu on Veterans Day with proof of military service. Available for in-restaurant only.

Chop House — Veterans and active military receive a 50% discount off any entrée with a valid military ID on Nov. 11. Dine-in only. Call ahead to your local Chop House if you have any questions about your Veterans Day Discount, or visit the Chop House website for additional details.

Cotton Patch Café — All veterans and active military members are offered a chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken free Nov. 11. Call ahead to your local Cotton Patch Café if you have any questions about your Veterans Day Discount.

Country Kitchen — Active and retired military get a free Country scramble on Nov. 11 at participating locations. Dine-in only.

Cracker Barrel — Veterans and service members will be offered a free slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake, with purchase, in-store and online with promo code VETSDAY21.

Dunkin’ Donuts — On Veterans Day, veterans and active-duty members can receive one free doughnut while supplies last. Please note that not all Dunkin’ locations will participate.

Golden Corral — Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night on Nov. 11 from 5 p.m. to closeing This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in. Check local outlet for details.

Fazoli’s — Fazoli’s is offering veterans a free regular spaghetti with meat or marinara on Nov. 10 and 11 at participating locations.

Great Clips— On Nov. 11, veterans and active service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card to use later.  

Hooters — All active-duty and retired military, with proof of service, are invited to stop in for a free meal on Veterans Day. The Hooters Veterans Day Menu includes five of the most popular entrées including: Buffalo Chicken Salad, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Hooters Burger and 10-Piece Boneless Wings.

IHOP — Veterans and active-duty military are being offered free red, white and blue pancakes on Nov. 11 with presentation of a military ID or proof of service.

Krispy Kreme — Krispy Kreme is offering service members and veterans a free doughnut of choice and small brewed coffee at participating stores.

Little Caesar’s — On Veterans Day from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., veterans and active military members can receive a free lunch combo, which features four slices of Little Caesars popular Detroit-style deep-dish pizza, paired with a 20-ounce Pepsi product.

Logan’s Roadhouse — Logan’s Roadhouse will be offering all veterans a free American Roadhouse Meal From 3-6 p.m. on Nov. 11.

Longhorn Steak House — Longhorn Steakhouse offers veterans 10% off their entire meal and a free appetizer or dessert this Veterans Day.

Lucille’s BBQ — Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Lucille’s Original Pulled Pork Sandwich and one side item on Nov. 11. Must show proof of service.

McCormick & Schmick’s — Veterans, Gold Star parents and Gold Star spouses can receive a half-priced entrée from a special menu on Sunday, Nov. 7 at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants. Please contact your nearest location for details.

Miller’s Ale House — Military members and veterans get 50% off their entrée of choice with proof of service on Nov. 11.

Mission BBQ — Veterans and active-duty military get a free sandwich on Nov. 11

O’Charley’s — Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free meal—a $10 value—from a special menu at participating O’Charley’s locations on Nov. 11 with a military ID or proof of service.

Olive Garden — Active-duty military and veterans on Veterans Day can get a free meal, which includes an entrée from a special Veterans Day menu, plus unlimited soup or salad and garlic breadsticks to round out the meal.

Outback Steakhouses — Active-duty and veterans can receive a free Bloomin’ Onion or Coca-Cola product. A 10% discount on meals is available for service members as well as nurses, doctors, medical staff, police officers and firefighters.

Pilot — In celebration of Veterans Day, Pilot Company is inviting all active duty and retired military members to enjoy a free meal* at any of its more than 750 participating U.S. travel centers. Pilot is using ID.me, a group verification solution, to make it easy and simple for service members to quickly verify their eligibility. 

Red Robin — Veterans and active-duty military who are Red Robin Royalty members are offered a free Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries anytime through Nov. 14 for dine-in or to-go. Visit the Red Robin website for details.

Red Lobster — Active-duty service members, veterans, and reservists can receive a free appetizer or dessert on Nov. 11.

Sheetz — On Nov. 11, Sheetz will offer all veterans and active duty military personnel a free half turkey sub or ham sub and a regular size fountain drink. Sheetz locations that offer car washes will also provide a free car wash to veterans and active duty military. Military ID or proof of service must be presented.

Shoney’s — Veterans and active-duty service members get a free all-you-care-to-eat, freshly prepared breakfast bar on Nov. 11 until 11 a.m.. Dine-in only.

Texas Roadhouse — Texas Roadhouse will hand out dinner vouchers at the stores’ parking lots on Nov. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Veterans and active-duty military can redeem their dinner vouchers when the restaurant opens for dinner, through May 30, 2022.

TGI Fridays — On Veterans Day, TGI Fridays is offering a free select lunch for dine-in only (not valid for online, take-out, or delivery) at participating locations with valid military ID between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. local time.

Veterans Canteen Service — Veterans Canteen Service locations are honoring veterans with a free coffee or fountain beverage on Nov. 11.

Wendy’s — Wendy’s is giving service members and veterans a free breakfast combo with valid military ID or a Veterans Advantage card from 6:30-10:30 a.m. on Veterans Day.

Yard House — Veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary appetizer on Nov. 11. Please visit the Yard House website or contact your nearest location for details.
