An International Security Assistance Force servicemember died Friday following an improvised explosive device attack in southern Afghanistan, according to a report by The Associated Press.
On Thursday, seven NATO servicemembers were killed, including five U.S. troops who died in a roadside bombing in southern Afghanistan, U.S. military officials said, according to the AP.
Two other NATO servicemembers were also killed Thursday, the AP reported, citing military officials.
A French soldier was killed Thursday when a roadside bomb exploded on a convoy south of Tagab in Kapisa province in the east, the AP reported, citing a French Defense Ministry statement. Four other French soldiers were wounded in the attack.
The nationalities of the seventh NATO servicemember killed Thursday and the servicemember killed Friday have not been disclosed, the AP said.
