1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, Japan time: Final warning has been issued for what remains of Tropical Depression Talas by Joint Typhoon Warning Center. It forecasts Talas to pass about 100 miles southeast of Yokosuka Naval Base late Saturday evening. A thunderstorm watch is in effect until 4 p.m. and a thunderstorm warning until 2 p.m. This is the final report on Talas.
