The annual time for ghosts, goblins and of course, candy, is upon us. The following are planned Halloween events and activities for U.S. military bases around the Pacific:

JAPAN

Yokota Air Base

The youth center is hosting a Fright Night Halloween Party from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free for members and $3 for nonmembers.The teen center is hosting a Nightmare on Morgan Street, a haunted house from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday.Trick-or-treating will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Yokota residents not wanting to participate in trick-or-treat activities are advised to turn off their porch lights on Halloween.The Yokota Enlisted Club is hosting an adults-only party starting at 7 p.m. Wednesday.The teen center will hold an All Hallows’ Eve Potluck Party from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.Tama Hills Lodge

The Hillcrest Lounge will be the site of a Halloween party starting at 9 p.m. Saturday for adults only.Camp Zama/Sagamihara Housing Area/Sagami Depot

The Camp Zama Community Club is hosting a showing of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” at the Firelight Lounge at midnight Saturday. Adults only.A Latin Halloween party will be held at the Zama Community Club starting at 9 p.m. Saturday.A kids’ Halloween party will be held at the Sagami Housing Area Club from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.Trick-or-treating will be held at Camp Zama and Sagamihara Family Housing Area from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.Misawa Air Base

The Wakasa Teen Center is throwing a costume party from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at the Grid.The Misawa Club is hosting the “Masters of Funk: Halloween Party” on Saturday. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 p.m.The Walmsley Bowling Center is hosting a Halloween costume party for kids from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, and for adults from 9 p.m. to midnight.The Lunney Youth Center is hosting a Halloween Fear Factor party at 3 p.m. Wednesday.Trick-or-treating will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni

Trick-or-treating will take place 5-7 p.m. Sunday. Residents not wanting to participate in trick-or-treat activities are advised to turn off their porch lights on Halloween.The Marine Lounge will be hosting the Night of Fright, starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday.The Hornet’s Nest is hosting a Boo Rah Halloween party from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday for single and unaccompanied Marines.Sasebo Naval Base

Morale, Welfare and Recreation will hold a “Theatre of Evil” event from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Hario Village. Events include a costume party at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Hario Home Store, and a “Running Scared” trick-or-treat around a marked route starting at the Hario Fitness Center and running through certain areas of the Hario housing area. The festivities also include carnival games, contests, prizes and a mini-haunted house.Trick-or-treating will take place 5-8 p.m. Wednesday throughout the Hario Village and Main Base Housing area.Naval Air Facility Atsugi

A Halloween family party will be held at the Corner Pocket from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday with a costume contest at 6 p.m.Trick-or-treating will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the housing areas.The Liberty & Corner Pocket will be hosting a Spooktacular Costume Party from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday for adults only.A Family Halloween costume party will be held at Club Trilogy from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.McDonald’s will be hosting a Halloween costume contest from 3 to 7 p.m. WednesdayYokosuka Naval Base

The Halloween Carnival will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Purdy Fitness Center. Recommended age children 9 and below. Admission is $3.00 per child. It will be followed by a costume contest, which begins at 7:30 p.m.A Halloween costume party will be held from 9:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at the Negishi All Hands’ Club,The Good or Evil: Halloween Party will start at 7 p.m. Saturday at Sharky’s Bar in Club “A”.The CPO Club is hosting their annual Monster Mash Halloween Costume Party Saturday. Happy Hour is from 7 to 9 p.m.A trick-or-treat scavenger hunt will be held at the Yokosuka Library from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday.A Fear Factor eating contest will be held at the Spectrum Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday.Costume parades will take place throughout Yokosuka on Wednesday. The Yokosuka Main Child Development Center Annex will be hosting a costume parade from 3 to 4 p.m. The Ikego CDC is hosting their costume parade from 3 to 4 p.m. The Negishi CDC is hosting their costume parade at 9:45 a.m.Trick-or-treating will be 4:30-8 p.m. Wednesday in the housing area.New Sanno Hotel

A Halloween brunch will take place 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Reservations recommended. Admission is $25.95 for adults and 12.95 for children ages 4-12. Brunch guests may also take part in a kids’ costume contest. All brunch guests wishing to enter their children (ages 12 and under) must register by 5 p.m. on Oct. 25. The contest will begin at 10:30 a.m.OKINAWA

Thirsty’s will hold a Halloween party 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday.The Habu Pit senior NCO lounge will have a party with prizes for the best costumes from 6 to 11 p.m. Wednesday.Camp Lester

Trick-or-treating will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday for on-post housing and Hannam Village.A trunk-or-treat event will be held 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the elementary school parking lot between the soccer field and softball field.Camp Humphreys

Return to Spooky Hallow, the Camp Humphreys community-wide Halloween party, will be held from 5:30 to 8 pm. Friday at the Zoeckler Sports Field. Events include trick-or-treating, a costume parade and a pumpkin-carving contest.Hallelujah Night, sponsored by the Humphreys chapel, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Super Gym. Trunk-or-treat will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., with a fantasy playground and a children’s costume party from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Gateway Club main hall.A Better Opportunities for Single and Unaccompanied Soldiers adult Halloween party will be 9 p.m. to midnight Friday.A Monster Rockathon will start at 10 p.m. Friday in the Warrior’s Club main hall.A trick-or-treat and costume contest will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Casey Main Exchange.A mini trick-or-treat will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Gateway Club.

Camp Mobile

The Annual Haunted Barracks will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Children in eighth-grade and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Casper Barracks will be open from 5 to 6 p.m. for younger children. The adult version of the haunted barracks will be open from 6 – 9 p.m.Camp Red Cloud
