The team recently completed its annual certification for the 2026 airshow season on Feb. 23, confirming they meet the highest standards of safety and performance before the season begins.

With all required certifications now complete, the Thunderbirds are cleared to begin this year’s season. The first show is scheduled for March 21-22 at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. 

Personnel assigned to the Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron arrived at Naval Air Facility El Centro in California earlier this month to train for the 2026 air show season.
