Zoie Terrill, a senior defender who helped lead Guam High to the private-school league championship, has been named the league’s Most Valuable Player and first-team All-Island by the league coaches.

Terrill scored five goals and had four assists for the Panthers, who went unbeaten in 12 league matches this season, including the playoffs. The Panthers beat Notre Dame 4-0 in the Independent Interscholastic Athletic Association of Guam championship match May 12.

Terrill also headlines three IIAAG All-Island first-team selections. Senior Gisselle Dahlig was named first-team midfielder and sophomore NyKale Penn, who transferred to Guam High in February, was named first-team forward.

Named to the All-Island second team were senior defender Kayla Moore, senior midfielders Grace Martin and Megan Franchino and freshman forward Aubrey Ibanez, who scored three goals in the Panthers’ final victory over the Royals.

Senior Kaile Guerrero was named Honorable Mention defender, and Franchino Honorable Mention utility player.
