Patch senior Julia Lockridge set two records Friday in the opening day of the DODDS European Track and Field Championships.

In the morning, she set the DODDS-Europe record in the girls’ 1,600 meters in a time of 5 minutes, 10.26 seconds, breaking the 2014 record of 5:12.48 set by Ramstein’s Madison Morse.

Later, she followed by breaking a much-longer held record with a 2-minute, 16.67-second finish in the girls’ 800. The record, wihch had stood since 1980, was held by Carla Wyndham of American School of London: 2:17.60.
