NAPLES, Italy — Country music duo Sugarland canceled performances on bases in Sigonella and Naples last weekend, saying lead singer Jennifer Nettles lost her voice.

The duo performed in Aviano on Friday night, and flew to Sigonella. They did not perform there on Saturday, but instead held a meet-and-greet with fans.

The band also did not perform in Naples on Sunday. They flew to France, where they are booked to play a commercial concert at Le Showcase in Paris on Tuesday, according to the band’s Web site.

The Naples show is tentatively rescheduled for March 24. There are so far no plans to reschedule the Sigonella performance.

The band also is on tap to play other military venues later in the month. A show is scheduled at the Brunssum Sports Complex in the Netherlands on March 13, and at Ramstein on March 14.
