ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam — Guam police have arrested a ninth island resident in connection with the on-base shooting death of a teenager June 30.
According to the Pacific Daily News, police arrested Richard D. Desoto, 30, of Yona, Guam, on Monday.
Desoto was being held for illegal hunting, criminal trespassing, criminal facilitation, guilt established by complicity and jurisdiction over adults, the newspaper reported.
Previously, seven adults and one juvenile were arrested in connection with the shooting death of Shaundale P. Quenga, 14, Air Force officials said.
The teenager died from blood loss after being shot in the leg while allegedly hunting in a restricted area on base, the Pacific Daily News previously reported.
