CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — They’ve built it, and now they’re hoping the tourists come.
Corn Dawgs, an agritourism adventure park in Loganville, Ga., has constructed a seven-acre maze of maize in the likeness of “American Sniper” Chris Kyle that will open on Sept. 18 for the fall season.
From the air, the profile is impressively detailed, with Kyle’s trademark beard, defined jaw and steely gaze. It features his name, stars and the phrase “God Bless America.”
“We are so proud of this year’s maze design — a tribute to a true American hero,” Corn Dawgs’ website says. The park is about 40 miles east of Atlanta.

In 2012, Kyle released his best-selling autobiography, “American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History.” It was in pre-production to be made into a Hollywood blockbuster starring Bradley Cooper and directed by Clint Eastwood when Kyle and a friend were gunned down by a troubled veteran in 2013. The film grossed more than $500 million at the box office.
