U.S. civilians working at Incirlik, Turkey, will get post allowance pay in their upcoming checks after receiving none of the supplemental income in recent pay periods.

Meanwhile, civilian employees in some other European locations will see more money due to changing exchange rates.

According to changes that went into effect Sunday, civilian employees at Incirlik will see their post allowance go from zero to five percent of their spendable income. For example, a family of four earning between $48,000 and $51,000 will receive an extra $54 per paycheck.

The Turkish post allowance changes are due to recently completed spending surveys, according to a State Department release.

Post allowance changes for civilians working in Spain and the U.K. are a result of exchange rate fluctuations, according to the release.

Civilians working at Rota, Spain, will see an increase of about 8 percent in their post allowance rate, meaning a family of four making between $48,000 and $51,000 will see about $90 extra per paycheck.

In England, a civilian making between $48,000 and $51,000 with a family of four who works around the major Air Force bases at RAFs Mildenhall and Lakenheath will see a 5 percent jump in their post allowance, giving them approximately $50 extra per pay period.
