Don’t turn the heat off in winter, the Army in Seoul is reminding members of the U.S. military community.
Turning off the heat can cause the pipes to freeze, according to the U.S. Army Garrison-Yongsan’s department of public works.
Those who leave their quarters for extended periods should turn the heat down but not off.
Thermostats should be set at no lower than 55 degrees.
