A 2nd Infantry Division solider was discovered dead Monday in his barracks room, according to an Army news release on Tuesday.
The soldier’s name is being withheld until his family can be notified. He was a member of the 210th Fires Brigade.
Officials are investigating the death, according to the release.
Cowboys cheerleaders to perform at Yongsan
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will perform at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Collier Field House on Yongsan Garrison in Seoul.

Sharp, Korean general visit poor S. Koreans
The two senior Combined Forces Command leaders and their wives visited welfare facilities and the homes of "less fortunate families" near Yongsan Garrison on Monday.
Commander Gen. Walter Sharp and his wife, Joanne, joined deputy commander Gen. Lee Sung-chool and his wife, Park Jung-shin, in making the visits to "console and give words of encouragement," according to a command news release.
One stop was to the home of a 66-year-old disabled woman identified only as Jin, who received rice, noodles and gloves. They also visited the Hyesimwon orphanage to donate money and chests of drawers.
The CFC has established relationships with two welfare facilities, five low-income families and nine elderly people who live alone.
The command donates about $1,300 a month to assist the people. Command members also volunteer personal time.
