RAF MILDENHALL, England — A 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron airman was sentenced to 30 days confinement and a reduction in rank to E-1 after pleading guilty to assault and violating a no-contact order issued by his commander earlier this month.

Airman 1st Class Armando Andrade pleaded guilty to two charges during a summary court-martial Thursday, according to Air Force court documents.

Andrade initially assaulted a woman Jan. 17 by striking her in the head, arms and torso with his fists and feet, and was issued a no-contact order by Lt. Col. Christopher J. Omlor Jan. 18 to remain at least 100 feet from the victim, the documents said.

He then violated the no-contact order on Jan. 21 when he attacked the same victim with his fists and feet, according to Air Force records.

He had been in pretrial confinement since Monday, and those four days incarceration will count toward his 30 days confinement.
