Two colleges on Monday announced a partnership that will allow the easy transfer of credits from one school to the other for thousands of military and civilian students.
Students with course credits for associate’s degree at Central Texas College can now transfer those credits to their bachelor’s program at the University of Maryland-University College, which serves most overseas locations, according to a news release from CTC.
The agreement is significant for Army students, as the institutions are No. 1 (UMUC) and No. 2 (CTC) for the number of students enrolled in courses covered in whole or in part by Army tuition assistance worldwide, according to the release. The news release says that both institutions are ranked in the top 10 of the U.S. News & World Report’s latest ranking of the largest degree-granting online programs.
