¶ A Jan. 17 story about what troops would be doing with their pay raise should have stated that inflation averaged 3.3 percent through the first 11 months of 2006, according to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Consumer Price Index, which is a measure of the average change over time in the prices paid by urban consumers for a number of consumer goods and services.
¶ A chart that accompanied a Jan. 15 story about the rising prices of prescription drugs at on-base pharmacies contained incorrect categories. Below are prices for three popular drugs. "High end military cost" refers to the highest price the military pays, using various vendors for the drug; "low end" is the lowest price the military pays.
