CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Girl Scout cookie sales on Okinawa are to start Friday.
Cookies will be sold at the Kadena United Service Organizations near Gate 2 from 3-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, according to the organization.
Beginning Jan. 20, sales will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m Saturdays and Sundays at the Kadena USO, base exchange and commissary as well as at various shoppettes on Kadena, Torii Station and Camp Shields.
Booth sales begin Saturday at camps Courtney, Hansen and Schwab post exchanges, Camp McTureous Shoppette and Camp Schwab USO. Booths will be staffed from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, 4-7 p.m. Fridays and 1-7 p.m. Wednesday half-school days.
Camp Foster’s sales also start Saturday at the post exchange, post office and shoppette. Booths will be staffed from 4-8 p.m. Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Camp Kinser post exchange and shoppette booths will be staffed from 5-7 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Door-to-door sales will be held on camps Foster, Courtney and Lester.
The cookies cost $3.50 per box and will be sold until Feb. 28.
