A pediatric occupational therapist who worked at U.S. bases in Europe has died, according to a report in the Boston Globe.

Mary E. Buxton died Dec. 18. She was 60.

Buxton worked at Ramstein Air Base and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany as well as Aviano Air Base in Italy and Incirlik Air Base in Turkey, according to the Globe.

She was most recently employed as program director of the Early Intervention Program at Cerebral Palsy of Eastern Massachusetts.

She is survived by her spouse, Lynne Panico of Pepperell; two sisters, Anne Sobol of New Orleans and Marjorie Grinnan of Mattapoisett; a brother, David Buxton of Somerville; and a stepdaughter, Chris Riviere of Aiken, S.C.
