KESGRAVE — A 16-year-old boy was sexually assaulted on Pilboroughs Walk in the early hours of July 1, according to a Suffolk Constabulary news release.

The teenager was walking along the path toward Twelve Acre Approach near the basketball courts around 12:45 a.m. when a man appeared in front of him. As the teenager continued to walk, the man came up to him and grabbed him by the crotch. The man then made an indecent suggestion, the release said.

The teenager managed to break free and then ran toward Tescos.

The man was seen walking toward Fentons Way. He is described as white, with a big build, around 6 feet tall, 20 to 30 years old with closely shaven dark hair and a spotty complexion. He was wearing black bottoms, a black hooded top with red edging around the hood and was carrying a large black sports bag with a strap over his shoulder.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have been in the area around this time or who may have information about the man or the incident to come forward. They can contact the Woolbridge CID at 01473 613500.

Puppy believed stolen returned to ownersWISBECH — A puppy that was believed to have been stolen from a home in Wisbech almost a month ago has been found.

Rosy, a 16-week-old Jack Russell mix, was reported missing by her owners. They feared she was stolen from her home on St. Michael’s Avenue on June 9, according to a Cambridgeshire Constabulary news release.

Rosy was returned to her owners on July 3 following appeals for information regarding her whereabouts.

Man arrested following deadly accidentBLYTHBURGH — A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal collision on the A12 near this town on July 1.

Four people died in the collision that occurred around 12:50 a.m., according to a Suffolk Constabulary news release.

The release did not identify the name of the 21-year-old man.
