The Gaeta Information Ticket and Tours office in Italy is sponsoring bus and hotel accommodations to Turin, Italy, for the 2006 Winter Olympic games.
The trip — open to U.S. personnel and their families — is from Feb. 21 to Feb. 25. The tour includes round-trip, overnight bus transportation from Gaeta, two nights at a three-star hotel in Asti, breakfast at the hotel daily, and three shuttle trips from Asti to Turin daily for Olympic events, said Brian Elmore, a Morale, Welfare and Recreation customer service representative, said.
The cost is 200 euros each per single sailor, if traveling with another single sailor; 345 euros per person for double occupancy; or 690 euros for single occupancy, he said.
ITT has reserved 13 rooms for the trip. Deadline for registration is Feb. 4. To register, call (+39) 0771-709-048.
Prices do not include event tickets, which can be bought online at www.torino2006.org, or by calling (+39) 039-838-250. Tickets are available, Elmore said, such as cheaper seats for skiing, ice hockey and figure skating events.
