“Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith” is coming to Camp Foster on Thursday and is scheduled to play at base movie theaters on Okinawa through at least June 8.
Advance seats for shows from May 19-22 will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. at the theaters.
Children younger than 5 — normally admitted free — will have to buy a ticket because of the movie’s popularity, according to an Army and Air Force Exchange Service press release. Babies carried in an adult’s arms still can enter for free, the release stated.
Showtimes at Camp Foster are as follows: Thursday and Friday, 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.; Saturday at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.; and May 22 at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The movie will play at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma on May 23 at 6:30 p.m.; Camp Hansen on May 24 at 7 p.m.; and Camp Courtney on May 25 at 1 p.m., with an evening showing also scheduled.
Kadena Air Base’s Keystone Theater will show the movie from May 26 to May 31. The movie will then be shown again at Camps Hansen, Kinser and Courtney and MCAS Futenma.
The movie is rated PG-13 and runs for 2 hours, 26 minutes.
