The United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom will compete in this year’s CODE Bowl. (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III )

As of this moment, I have logged 468 hours on Call of Duty. It’s all in the secret hope that I have the opportunity to challenge the editorial team of our British counterparts at Soldier Magazine at this upcoming CODE Bowl.

However, this year’s Code Bowl will be a whole lot different. This year, the United States and the United Kingdom may get the sap taken out of them when they face their latest opponent — the Canadians.

As the 1995 film “Canadian Bacon” appropriately demonstrates, the Canadians are America’s true adversary. We believe that the Canadians are attempting to usurp vital American interests in Al Mazrah, Ashika Island and Vondel.

This event is truly shaping up to be a resurgence of the War of 1812.

This year’s CODE Bowl is on Oct. 5 — no details on where it will be.

The CODE Bowl can be watched on YouTube, Twitch, Steam and Facebook following Call of Duty: Next — an event previewing the next iterations of Call of Duty.
