Kaiserslautern police are seeking witnesses to a robbery downtown Monday night near the K in Lautern mall.
Four people estimated to be between 15 and 17 took a 19-year-old victim’s wallet by force on Maxstrasse at about 10:40 p.m., a Westpfalz Police Department statement said.
Authorities searched the area but didn’t find the perpetrators, who made off with about 70 euros as well as the victim’s bank card and ID, police said.
One suspect is described as between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11 with dark skin and was wearing black sweatpants and a black jacket with a white zipper and a hood.
Another of the four teens has a strong build, light skin and curly blond hair and was dressed in blue jeans and a jacket, according to police.
A third suspect was wearing a Gucci cap, blue jeans and a black jacket, while the fourth was described as being of Arab appearance with black hair and a black jacket.
Anyone who saw the robbery is asked to call Kaiserslautern police at 0631 369-13312.
