The rain has cleared and the temperatures are climbing, making this the perfect weekend to get out and explore.

From riverside spectacles to cosplay and wine, here are five can’t-miss events happening across the Kaiserslautern Military Community.

Sun and fun: Give summer a proper sendoff with giveaways, games, music and delicious food at this festive farewell bash at Pulaski Park on Pulaski Barracks on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. It’s a family-friendly way to soak up the season before fall kicks in. Free admission.

Cosplay day: Step into character and mingle with fellow fans at this colorful cosplay celebration at Kaiserslautern’s Japanese Garden on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. With themed photo ops and a lush garden backdrop, it’s the perfect setting to show off your look. Admission is 5 euros.

Street food festival and tattoo convention: Grab a bite, get inspired or get inked at this bold and flavorful double feature in Veitsrodt on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Whether you’re craving a new design or a gourmet snack, you’ll find both under one roof. Free admission.

Wine fest: Sip your way through this lively wine lovers’ weekend in Deidesheim on Friday starting at 5 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. With regional vintages, hearty eats and a festive village vibe, it’s worth braving the heat. Free admission.

River spectacle: Lights, boats and music take over the Saar River at this shimmering shoreline celebration between Bürgerpark and Osthafen on Friday from 4 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11:59 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Bring a blanket, find a spot, and stay for the show. Free admission
