Some calls to Ramstein’s medical and dental clinics aren’t going through; here’s what to know

Having trouble reaching the Ramstein Air Base medical group or dental clinic? You’re not alone.

Until further notice, the clinics can’t receive calls from cell phones, Voice over Internet Protocol lines or other non-landline devices unless callers use a special prefix, medical officials said in a Facebook post Tuesday.

To get through from a non-landline phone, dial 06371-479, followed by the last four digits of the number you’re trying to reach. For example, the appointment line can be reached at 06371-479-2273.

The 86th Medical Group at Ramstein Air Base is actively working with the phone service provider to resolve the issue, according to the post.
