Bark in the Park: Let your pup run wild and make furry friends at this tail-wagging meetup at the Ramstein Air Base dog park on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. Expect flying discs, happy howls and nonstop fun for the whole pack. Free admission.
Forest festival: Crank up the volume under the trees at this high-energy local music fest in Kaiserslautern’s Fuchsdelle forest on Saturday from 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. With homegrown bands, forest breezes and good vibes, it’s the ultimate weekend soundtrack. Free admission.
City wall festival: Raise a glass and dance the night away at this buzzing street fest in Freinsheim on Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon. Live music, sparkling seltzer and a packed lineup of vendors keep the party going all weekend. Free admission.

Lake festival: Turn up the volume and soak in the summer at this epic lakeside music bash at Ohmbachsee all weekend long. With 18 live acts, a 90s-themed party on Friday night and a Sunday packed with pirate magic and Paw Patrol, there’s something for every kind of festivalgoer. Tickets are 15 euros for Friday and Saturday, 7 euros for Sunday or 25 euros for a weekend pass.
