1.FC Kaiserslautern beat Notts County 4-0 on Saturday on field no. 4 on the Betzenberg.
Ivan Prtajin, Kenny Prince Redondo, Mahir Emreli and Mika Haas scored the goals for the Red Devils against the English fourth division club, in front of 1,400 spectators.
On Sunday FCK headed to Sterzing in northern Italy’s South Tyrol region, for its summer training camp as the team prepares for the 2025/26 second division season. Before returning to Kaiserslautern on July 20, the Red Devils will play a test match against Italian first division side CFC Genua on July 18 in Moena.
On July 26, FCK will host another Serie A club, AS Rome, as the Red Devils celebrate the clubs 125th anniversary. There are still a few tickets available for the 6 p.m. game on the FCK website.
The Red Devils start the season on the road on Aug. 3 against Hannover 96, before hosting Schalke 04 on Aug. 9 at Fritz Walter Stadium.
Dates for game days up to week seven have been set. Kaiserslautern plays at Elversberg Aug. 22; against Darmstadt Aug. 31; in Fürth Sept. 14; against Preussen Münster Sept. 19; and in Paderborn on Sept. 27.
On Aug. 17, the Red Devils travel to Babelsberg to face RSV Eintracht Stahnsdorf in the first round of the German cup.
