Police seek witnesses to crash in Vogelbach district that killed elderly pedestrian

Landstuhl police are looking for witnesses to a fatal collision Sunday afternoon in Bruchmühlbach-Miesau between a motorcyclist and an 88-year-old man who was trying to cross a street in the Vogelbach district.

The motorcyclist, who suffered minor injuries in the crash, was heading toward Bruchmühlbach and struck the pedestrian crossing Kaiserstrasse, a police statement Sunday said.

An expert was assigned to look into what happened, the statement said.
