Two cars were reported stolen early Friday in Weilerbach, a village about nine miles northwest of Kaiserslautern, police said.

Both vehicles — a gray Audi S7 taken from Am Hochrain Street around 1 a.m., and an Audi A4 stolen from Zum Geisrech Street at an unknown time — were equipped with “KeylessGo” systems that allow for keyless entry and ignition.

Authorities are advising owners of such vehicles to store their keys in secure containers, such as metal boxes, to block wireless signals.
