A Fourth of July celebration will bring fireworks, food and live concerts to the Ramstein Air Base flightline on July 3-4.

The Freedom and Friendship fest will kick off July 3 at 2 p.m. with carnival rides, static displays and a headlining performance by American rock band Awolnation in Hangar 1 at 8 p.m.

On July 4, there will be more rides, displays, food and fun with a 5 p.m. Revengers concert, followed by fireworks at dusk.

A shuttle bus service will be available throughout the event to bring attendees from parking to Hangars 1 and 2. Rides and many food booths are cash only, although some food vendors accept cards. Both U.S. dollars and euros will be accepted.

Awolnation will also perform free concerts at Spangdahlem Air Base on July 4 and U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden on July 6 .
