A new outdoor children’s playground opened Wednesday on the University of Kaiserslautern campus.
The Kitzland adventure playground, part of the university’s Unisport complex, features more than 3,200 square feet of space with dozens of activities and play structures, according to the park’s website.
The playground is divided into three zones: one for children ages 1 to 3, and two for ages 4 to 14. Children over the age of 14 are not permitted.
Admission is 5 euros per child age 3 and older, or 42 euros for a six-month pass. Children 2 and under enter free but still require a booked ticket for security screening, according to Unisport’s website.
Supervising adults can enter free of charge, and do not require a ticket to enter.
For more information or to purchase tickets, visit Kitzland’s website.
Admission to Kitzland is free during the University of Kaiserslautern’s Summer Soul event series, held every Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. through Aug. 8.
