Bomb threats sent to Kaiserslautern-area schools not considered serious by police

Several schools in and around Kaiserslautern received emailed bomb threats this week, authorities said.

Investigators determined that the threats that showed up Monday were not credible, according to a Westpfalz Police Department statement the same day.

The emails were “part of a series” of bomb threats made to schools throughout Germany, according to the statement.
