The B2Run 5K will shut down many streets in downtown Kaiserslautern on May 22, 2025. ( B2Run 5K )
Several streets in Kaiserslautern’s downtown will be temporarily closed Thursday for the annual B2Run 5K event. According to a statement from the city, the following streets will be affected:
Corner of Lutrinastraße and Karl-Marx-Strasse to corner of Bismarckstrasse: Full closure from 4 p.m.; no stopping from 10 a.m. onward.
Schneiderstrasse where it transitions to Eisenbahnstrasse and Eisenbahnstrasse itself: Full closure from 4 p.m.; no stopping.
Corner of Bismarckstrasse and Karl-Marx-Strasse to corner of Spittelstrasse: Full closure from 4 p.m.
Corner of Basteigasse and Karl-Marx-Strasse: No stopping.
Stiftsplatz cab and short-term parking spaces: No stopping.
Corner of Bismarckstrasse and Schubertstrasse: No stopping.
There will be a full closure of the entire route starting at 5:40 p.m. The streets are expected to be open again for traffic by 10 p.m.
