Spring fest: Soak up springtime vibes at this charming castle celebration at Lichtenberg Castle in Thallichtenberg on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Browse herbs and blooms, sip local wine and enjoy live music in a stunning setting. Free admission.

Animal shelter anniversary event: Celebrate furry friendships at this feel-good weekend bash at Animal Sunshine Farm in Kindsbach on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Food, vendor stands and animal-themed fun mark 25 years of pet adoptions. Free admission.

Alpaca hike: Trek scenic trails with a fluffy sidekick at this unforgettable outdoor adventure at Alpakas Eifel in Plütscheid on Friday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m. No dogs allowed, but alpacas are plentiful. Hunting horn competition: Hear tradition echo at this spirited showdown of bugling talent at Volkspark in Kaiserslautern on Sunday at 9 a.m. Top teams will compete to represent Rheinland-Pfalz at the national finals. Free admission.

“A Chorus Line”: The musical about Broadway dancers wraps up its run at KMC Onstage on Kleber Kaserne with shows Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Advance tickets are $18, $16 ages 2 to 18 and 65 and up. $2 surcharge at the door.
