Catch free staged readings of short comedies tonight at KMC Onstage’s mainstage on Kleber Kaserne and on Thursday at the Baumholder Library. The readings, which celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, feature two plays by Army veteran Alvaro Saar Rios. One involves a grandma who battles an extraterrestrial and the other is about La Llorona’s search for an evil sidekick.

On Wednesday, you can catch a free presentation of the Tournament of Tiny Plays at KMC Onstage’s mainstage, with doors closing at 6:45 p.m. and the show starting at 7 p.m. Audience members will not be permitted to arrive after 6:45 p.m. The tournament features four short plays, which will be judged by a panel. The winners of the audience choice award will be announced at the end of the show.
