Wine tastings are scheduled at Wein am Markt. (William Howard/Stars and Stripes)
There’s plenty to do this weekend in the KMC:
Learn more about local programs and services at a Community Expo presented by USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Special Events Center on Rhine Ordnance Barracks. Bouncy castles, a cotton candy stand, face painting and archery for kids round out the attractions.
There will be an open-air showing of the 2000 movie “Chocolat” preceded by a performance of rock band Kind of Used, with doors opening Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Krämers Hof Alsenborn.
Wein am Markt features wine tastings, music and food Friday through Sunday in the Landstuhl’s central market area.
The Bows & Bowties event, geared toward children 12 and younger, is happening at the Ramstein Officers’ Club and features dancing, musical chairs and food on Friday at 5:30 p.m. (All ages are allowed at the event.)
Check this out for more things to do.
